Private Firearms Training
Private classes are a good way for your organization, family, friends, co-workers or civic group to have fun training together. Private training gives you more control over your learning experience and we will cater to your exact needs. Classes can include firearms, ammo, and equipment use. We can discuss a custom class structure or pick from one of our already established curriculums.
In a private setting (1on1), we would start with the a safety brief. Once at the range, a manipulation skills, marksmanship and knowledge assessment would help us facilitate the rest of the live fire training. The end goal is to make the student Safe and confident with their chosen firearm. We will continue to build skills and expose students to new techniques as we progress past the basics.
Choose from various private group trainings, or one on one (minimum 4hr @ $60/hr) training program. This is ideal if you just want to learn or improve on a specific skill and need some coaching, or to safely shoot with a small group of friends. Contact us for details.
****Important Safety Notice: Sig P320 Prohibited in Training****
At Essential Survival LLC, safety is our top priority. After extensive research and consideration of multiple reports regarding uncommanded discharges involving the Sig Sauer P320 pistol, we have made the decision to prohibit the use of all Sig Model P320 variants in any of our training courses.
This decision aligns with recent safety concerns raised by law enforcement agencies and training institutions, including the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. To maintain the highest safety standards for all students, we will not allow these firearms in any class, regardless of modifications or factory updates.
For students who own only a Sig P320 and wish to attend a class, we are offering a free rental option, which includes a suitable handgun and holster. If you need this option, please contact us in advance to ensure availability.
We appreciate your understanding and commitment to firearm safety. If you have any questions or need guidance on alternative handgun options for training, please feel free to reach out.
